Andy D is a writer, performer, producer, based in Edinburgh. His comic play Shackleton and his Stowaway was published by Methuen. It was an Ed Fringe Sold Out show in 2018, and also Sold Out at Park 90, London in 2020. For 2022 he created/adapted Tam O’Shanter, Tales & Whisky, featuring the ‘Gothic’ poems of Robert Burns, which played at the Traverse, The Gaiety Theatre, and The Brunton Theatre, in Scotland. Then in 2023 Andy performed Mark Twain’s The Stolen White Elephant at the Edinburgh Fringe.

In 2024 he will be performing his Napoleon’s 100 Days in Leicester, Glasgow, Manchester, and Edinburgh. The show follows Little Boney on his escape from Elba, and onward for Waterloo. He was the revolution. Once.

In 2023 Andy D performed Mark Twain’s The Stolen White Elephant at Edinburgh Fringe. The story is an absurdist masterpiece, with Inspector Blunt and his detectives being in hot pursuit of an elephant on the loose.
